Recall Summary:
Newell is recalling 80 my 2005-2008 model 450 motor homes equipped with zf transmissions. There is a potential for the shift selector to malfunction as a result of a cell phone or radio being placed in close proximity to the shifter control pad.
How to Fix:
Dealers will update the software for the transmission shift controller free of charge. The recall began on September 12, 2008. Owners may contact newell at 1-888-963-9355.
