Recall Summary:Kawasaki is recalling 18 my 2009 vulcan 2000 motorcycles. These motorcycles fail to comply with the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard no. 108, "lamps, reflective devices, and associated equipment. " the headlamp assembly includes multiple bulb and lens elements. The noncompliant headlamps were assembled with lenses incorrectly positioned, affecting photometric performance.
How to Fix:Dealers will inspect the headlights and replace it free of charge. The recall began on March 13, 2009. Owners may contact kawasaki at 866-802-9381.
