Navistar is recalling certain model year 2010 and 2011 International brand trucks manufactured from January 13, 2009 through may 10, 2010, and equipped with certain eaton hybird transmissions with park feature. The reverse idler shaft may contact the park feature and the two components may bind, preventing the park feature from engaging.

Navistar will notify owners and the remedy will be performed by eaton corporation free of charge. The safety recall began on may 31, 2010. Owners may contact navistar at 1-260-461-1890 or eaton at 1-800-826-4357 or 1-269-342-3242.
