Blue bird is recalling certain model year 2011 all american d3 model school buses manufactured with 20 gauge outside side panels from April 23, 2010, through September 11, 2010. The side panel joint adhesive that is required to be used to adhere the panels may not have been used during production. Accordingly, these buses fail to comply with the joint strength requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard no. 221, "school bus body joint strength. "
