Recall Summary:Altec is recalling certain model year 2011-2012 cfd 1217 wood chippers, manufactured between may 2011 through September 2012. The wood chipper blades were not made to hardness specifications.
How to Fix:Altec will notify owners and will replace the blades, free of charge. The safety recall began on November 12, 2012. Owners may contact altec at 1-877-462-5832.
