Recall Summary:
Terex south dakota, inc. (terex) is recalling certain model year 1997-2013 xt55 and xt60 aerial devices mounted on utility trucks. Cracks may develop around the lower boom hinge pin boss at the turntable.
How to Fix:
Terex will notify owners, and dealers will provide a preventative welding reinforcement, free of charge. The manufacturer has not yet provided a notification schedule. Owners are to continue to follow the inspection and repair process as detailed in NHTSA recalls 10v028 and 11v542. The safety recall began on November 8, 2013.
