Jayco is recalling certain model year 2014 jay flight and jay flight swift travel trailers manufactured July 8, 2013, through August 30, 2013. In the affected vehicles, an improper amount of insulation may be stripped from the 110v ac water heater ignition wires resulting in a poor connection of the wires.

Jayco will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the installation of the lp/electric water heater and repair it as necessary, free of charge. The recall began on December 12, 2013. Owners may contact jayco at 1-800-283-8267.
