Polaris industries, inc. (polaris) is recalling certain model year 2015 victory cross country, cross country eightball, cross country tour, gunner, hammer eightball, high-ball, magnum, vision tour abs and vegas eightball motorcycles manufactured August 11, 2014, to September 2, 2014. The affected motorcycles may have been manufactured with the transmission shift drum detent roller spring incorrectly installed.

Polaris has notified owners, and dealers will inspect and repair the transmission, free of charge. The recall began on October 9, 2014. Owners may contact polaris customer service at 1-888-704-5290. Polaris' number for this recall is v-14-03 a/b.
