Recall Summary:
Corp. Micro bird (micro bird) is recalling certain model year 2012-2015 micro bird mb ii school buses manufactured July 3, 2012, to September 14, 2015. The affected buses were incorrectly tested to verify their roof strength and rollover protection and therefore cannot be assured to protect the occupants during a rollover. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard number 220, �school bus rollover protection. "
How to Fix:
The remedy for this recall is still under development. An interim notice was mailed to owners on November 19, 2015. A second notice will be mailed to owners once the remedy becomes available. Owners may contact micro bird customer service at 1-819-477-2012.
