Recall Summary:
Heartland trailer mfg. (heartland) is recalling certain model year 2015-2016 revolution trailers manufactured September 1, 2015, to April 30, 2016. The affected trailers have a rear clearance light that is covered by a brace for the rear gate. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard (fmvss) number 108, "lamps, reflective devices, and associated equipment. "
How to Fix:
Heartland will notify owners, and dealers will remove the gate brace, free of charge. The recall began on August 9, 2016. Owners may contact heartland customer service department at 1-573-471-6826.
