Recall Summary:
Daimler trucks north America, LLC (dtna) is recalling certain model year 2017 thomas built buses saf-t-liner c2 school bus chassis manufactured November 25, 2015, through April 27, 2016. The brake transmission shift interlock feature may be inoperable making it possible to shift into a drive gear without first pressing the brake pedal.
How to Fix:
Dtna will notify owners, and dealers will update the vehicle's software, free of charge. The recall began on November 1, 2016. Owners may contact dtna customer service at 1-800-547-0712. Dtna's number for this recall is FL-726.
