Recall Summary:
shyft group is recalling certain 2021 utilimaster velocity vehicles. the tire and loading information placard incorrectly states a seating capacity of one, although the actual seating capacity is two. as such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard number 110, "tire selection and rims."
How to Fix:
dealers will install new placards, free of charge. owner notification letters are expected to be mailed in june 2021. owners may contact shyft group customer service at 1-800-582-3454. shyft group's number for this recall is 21-16.
