Recall Summary:prevost car (us) inc. (prevost) is recalling certain 2021-2023 x3-45 commuter buses. the retention pin securing the passenger seat recline mechanism could fail, causing the mechanism to collapse, and result in a loose backrest. as such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard number 210, "seat belt assembly anchorages."
How to Fix:dealers will inspect and replace the retention pins and c-clips, if necessary, free of charge. owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on august 22, 2022. owners may contact prevost's customer service at 1-866-870-2046.
