Recall Summary:
volvo trucks north america (volvo trucks) is recalling certain 2025 vn and vhd trucks equipped with composilite exs20 steerable lift axle suspension assemblies. the tie rod assembly ball stud could have been improperly heat treated and can fail.
How to Fix:
dealers will inspect and replace the tie rod end assemblies as necessary, free of charge. owner notification letters are expected to be mailed august 30, 2024. owners may contact volvo trucks customer service at 1-800-528-6586. volvo truck's number for this recall is rvxx2405.
