Recall Summary:
daimler trucks north america, llc (dtna) is recalling certain 2023-2024 freightliner custom chassis s2c 106 and 2024-2025 freightliner custom chassis s2rv 106 vehicles. the brake lights may not illuminate when the brakes are automatically applied during an active brake assist (aba) event.
How to Fix:
the remedy is currently under development. owner notification letters are expected to be mailed september 1, 2024. owners may contact dtna customer service at 800-745-8000. dtna's number for this recall is f1006.
