Possibility that dash pot mounting bracket may contact fuel hose connectingfuel pump with car- buretor. Also, fuel hose may con- tact sheet metal clampsecuring wiring harness to fan housing. If either of these conditions exists,contact will cause hose to chafe through hose wall. (correct by inspecting andmodifying where necessary. )
