Chrysler campaign no 084t. Trucks medium & heavy duty, equipped with w/361-2 &361-3 engines in models d500, d600, d700, d800, s500, s600, c500, c600, c700,ct800, l600 and l700 only. Possibility that anchor holding accelerator returnspring to engine may be improperly aligned, causing return spring to eventuallywear and break. If spring breaks, would allow throttle to open without footpressure on accelerator pedal. (correct by inspecting, realigning bracket andinstalling new spring. )
