General motor campaign no (Chevrolet 73-c-03, pontiac 73-c-1, Buick 73-c-1,Oldsmobile 73-c-2, and GMC 73-c-1). Possibility that steering linkage mayover-travel and cause severe front wheel toe-in. Condition can occur whensteering wheel is turned to extreme left position while vehicle is in reverseand right front tire strikes object such as curb or parking block. Operationof vehicle in this condition can damage right hand inner tie rod end assemblywhich eventually could result in loss of steering control of right front wheel. (correct by inspecting and installing idler arm stop bracket where necessary. )
