Ford campaign no 138. Possibility that an incorrect steering column flexcoupling was installed in production. If this condition exists the steeringsystem would have an unequal number of wheel turns rignt and left of centerwhich may overstress the pitman arm stud, and extended operation could resultin fatigue fracture of the stud. (correct by insepcting and replacing steeringcolumn coupling).
