Freightliner campaign no FL-0028. Tractor. Possibility that the suspensionbeam hanger brackets on the tandem rear axles may develop cracks after 200,000milesof over-the-road service. If this condition exists it can eventuallycause the brackets to fail and can result in loss of vehicle control. Thisrecall supplements 71-0071 initiated on April 23, 1971 for the same defect. (correct by inspecting and replacing brackets where necessary).
