Ford campaign no 188. Equipped with power steering. Possibility that thesteering gear pinion assembly may contain a cracked or sheared valve sleevedrive pin. If this condition exists, turing the steering wheel will notovercome hydraulic pressure within the assembly, and the driver will be unableto control steering of the vehicle. (control by inspecting and replacingsteering gear on all vehicle containing suspected steering gear units).
