Recall Summary:
A "speed nut", which retains the steering column boot to the toeboard, can cut through the steering column.
How to Fix:
A new design steering column adapter will be installed on all affected vehicles. If steering column is damaged, it will be replaced.

Vehicle description: heavy trucks. System: steering; steering column assembly. Consequences of defect: this condition could cause loss of steering control,loss of vehicle control, and an accident.
