Recall Summary:
The engine mounted accelerator relay shaft can be contacted by the cab structure due to variations in the cab to engine relationship combined with sufficient relative motion between the engine and the cab. This could cause the accelerator to bind in position, resulting in loss of control over vehicle speed.
How to Fix:
Dealer will relocate the accelerator linkage at no cost to owner.

Vehicle description: heavy trucks. System: throttle linkages and control; accelerator relay shaft. Consequences of defect: binding of the accelerator could occur without priorwarning, causing loss of vehicle control and an accident.
