Recall Summary:
The involved vehicles may be in non-compliance to federal motor vehicle safety standard no. 121, "air brake systems", due to improper positioning of the controller module. This module is mounted 90 degrees from its proper orientation and this causes the anti-lock system to become inoperative. Also, the brake reaction time may be slow.
How to Fix:
Involved vehicles will be inspected and repaired to ensure compliance with the safety standard.

Vehicle description: platform trailers. System: service brakes; controller module. Consequences of defect: in a situation requiring a heavy brake application,trailer wheels may lock causing loss of vehicle control and an accident.
