The involved vehicles may contain front park/turn signal lamp assemblies that may be in non-compliance to federal motor vehicle safety standard no. 108, "lamps, reflective devices and associated equipment". The non-compliance exists because of a possible separation between the lamp lens and lamp housing due to vibration. This separation could allow moisture and dirt accumulation to occur inside the lamp assembly.

Dealer will install a new front park/turn signal lamp on each headlight door without charge to owner.

Vehicle description: passenger vehicles. System: lighting and communications; front park/turn signal lamps. Consequences of defect: over a period of time, this accumulation could reducelight output, creating an unsafe situation which could contribute to anaccident.
