In the involved vehicles, the air pressure which is used to actuate the engine shutdown solenoid may be blocked whenever transmission fluid temperature exceeds 250 degrees fahrenheit.

Dealer will inspect and modify the air plumbing as required.

Vehicle description: trucks equipped with automatic transmissions and detroitdiesel engines. System: engine and engine cooling. Consequences of defect: in this condition, the driver would not be able to shutthe engine off in the event of an engine runaway, which could lead to a vehicleaccident.
