Recall Summary:
The cast hubs on some of the involved vehicles were improperly manufactured. They may be subject to high mileage fatigue cracks at the inner bearing area or along the flange portions to which the wheels are mounted.
How to Fix:
Dealer will inspect aluminum hubs and, if necessary, replace them with cast iron hubs without charge to owner.

Vehicle description: trucks equipped with 12,000 lb. Front axles and castaluminum front wheel hubs. System: wheels; cast hubs. Consequences of defect: continued operation could lead to a separation of thewheel and tire from the vehicle. Loss of vehicle control and an accident couldfollow.
