Tire labels written in french were inadvertently affixed to vehicles in u. S. . This fails to conform to federal motor vehicle safety standard no. 110, " tire selection and rims".

The dealer will correct the involved vehicles prior to their first retail sale by installing the correct labels.

Vehicle description: passenger vehicles. System: equipment; certification labels (tires). Consequences of defect: omission of a tire label written in english couldresult in the selection of incorrect tire and rim replacement parts. This wouldcreate an unsafe driving condition which could lead to an accident.
