Recall Summary:
The routing and fastening of the auxiliary starter cable in the area of the engine compartment is fastened in such a fashion that it may, through contact with a frame member, chafe and create an electrical short.
How to Fix:
The auxiliary starter wiring will be refastened; in the event of any chafing, it will be replaced. This will be performed at no cost to owner.
Recall Notes:
Vehicle description: motor homes equipped with auxiliary starting systems. System: electrical; wiring harness. Consequences of defect: should the shorting occur, there is a potential fordamage to the batteries and fire in the engine compartment, with resultinginjuries to vehicle passengers.
