Recall Summary:
The defect is in the wheel rim side ring. The wheel is made up of a disc and rim assembly, side ring and lock ring. The side ring may have been improperly sized with respect to the other components.
How to Fix:
All wheels including spare will be inspected. The side ring or the complete rim will be replaced, as necessary.
Recall Notes:
Vehicle description: trucks. System: suspension; wheel rim side ring. Consequences of defect: due to the improper size of the side ring, it may slipoff during vehicle operation. This could result in a vehicle accident, personalinjury and property damage. This damage would result from loss of the rimpieces.
