Recall Summary:

Left drive shaft may develop cracks, and may break under heavy loading such as that caused by rapid acceleration. This defect originated in a manufacturing process which has now been improved.

How to Fix:

Dealers will replace the left drive shaft on vehicles that have not been previously corrected, at no charge.

Recall Notes:

Vehicle description: passenger vehicles. System: power train; drive shaft. Consequences of defect: a sudden loss of driving power could cause a loss ofvehicle control and possibly, an accident.
