Recall Summary:
A defective differential pinion shaft may exist which can come in contact with the drive pinion gear, causing rear wheel lock-up.
How to Fix:
Pinion shaft and clips, and possibly the pinion gear, will be replaced without charge.

Vehicle description: multi-purpose passenger vehicles equipped withlimited-slip rear axle. System: power train differential pinion shaft. Consequences of defect: rear wheel lock-up may occur without prior warning,causing a loss of directional stability and a possible accident. Note: do not exceed moderate driving speeds until service has been completed.
