Recall Summary:
Faulty filter collapses under normal amount of pressure. Loss of steering power assist will result.
How to Fix:
Customers were telephoned and instructed to remove filter element from steering. Mci will later send a replacement filter and a compensation fee of $8. 00 for labor.

Vehicle description: intercity buses. System: steering; power steering assist filter. Consequences of defect: steering will become difficult. Possible loss ofcontrol could result in an accident.
