Recall Summary:
Cracks have developed in some locking pin housings which locks the adjustable tandem trailer axle. Consequence of defect: cracks in the locking pin housing could cause improper locking, and the sliding tandem may separate without warning when brakes are applied. This could result in a vehicle accident.
How to Fix:
Replace the tubular pin housing with a heavy block and housing to support it; also install a rear gusset between travel stop and rear bolster.
