Turbulence caused by aerodynamic qualites of the motorhomes at highway speed can cause the awning to unroll and break free from its mounting securement.

System: patio awning. Vehicle description: 37 foot and 40 foot motorhomes equipped with zip-dee patioawnings. Corrcetive action: replace awning roller tension spring at rear of awning witha spring that has a locking device to eliminate awning movement while motorhomeis in transit.
