Replace steering column assembly.

System: steering column jackets. Vehicle description: passenger cars. Description of defects: steering column jackets may be 10 mm short in overalllength causing inadequate retention of the column to the column support bracket. Consequence of defects: in event of a front end collision, improper compressionof the steering column may increase likelihood of injury to the driver.
