Replace blower switch resistor with resistor with fusible link, and relocate the resistor to a location with increased flow of cooling air.

System: blower motor. Vehicle description: heavy duty trucks. Descriiption of defect: binding or freezing of blower motor with loss of coolingair and increased current draw could cause blower switch resistor coil to heatexcessively.
