Recall Summary:The primary hood latch can release when vehicle is driven in the condition of high wind gusts. The primary hood latch failure will also cause the secondary hood latch to fail simultaneously.
How to Fix:Replace defective primary and secondary latch mechanisms with a larger spring on the primary latch, and a redesigned catch on the secondary latch.
Recall Notes:System: hood latches. Vehicle description: walk-in minivans. Consequence of defects: if primary and secondary hood latch failure occurs, thehood can fly open and break one or both front windshields, blocking the driver'svision, which could result in occupant injury and/or vehicle crash.
