The battery cables were located either adjacent to or touching the turbocharger of the engine. High temperatures of the turbocharger can melt the cable insulation, causing an electrical short circuit.

Grumman olson will supply a repair kit and instructions to reroute and clamp the battery cables away from the engine supercharger.
