Broken mounting straps will allow the fuel tank to drop to the pavement resulting in a fuel leak and possible vehicle fire.

Recall Summary:
The front and/or rear tank mounting straps can crack or break.
How to Fix:
A revised front and rear fuel tank mounting strap will be installed and a middle strap will be installed.

System: fuel; fuel tank assembly. Vehicle description: one-ton cab chassis models sold to u-haul and equipped with aftermarket 36 gallon fuel tanks.
