Recall Summary:
The automatic throttle chain can catch on the throttle linkage, causing the throttle to remain open.
How to Fix:
Retrofit kits will be provided for all affected vehicles including procedures to obtain local service.
Recall Notes:
System: fuel; throttle linkages and control. Vehicle description: ambulances built on freightliner FL-60 chassis, 20,000 gross vehicle weight rating, with a cummins b series 5. 9l diesel engine, 190or 250 horsepower rating. Note: if the vehicle is presented to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and the remedy is not provided free of charge within a reasonable time or the remedy does not correct the defect, please contact wheeled coach at 1-407-677-7777.
