Friction between the accelerat0r lever and the automatic transmission modulator lever can result in interference between the two levers which could prevent the engine from fully returning to idle.

Dealers will install a revised modulator lever on the involved vehicles.

System: fuel; throttle linkages and control and powertrain; transmission; automatic; lever and linkage. Vehicle description: medium duty trucks and cowl-chassis vehicles equipped with 160 horsepower fd-1060 engine and automatic transmission.
