Failure of the hydraulic fittings can cause a loss of brake fluid resulting in loss of brakes increasing the risk of a vehicle accident.

Interference between the hydraulic brake hoses or bleeder valves and the "reyco" air suspension components can occur causing failure of one of the hydraulic fittings.

System: brakes; hydraulic; lines; non-metallic. Vehicle description: forward engine school buses equipped with option 4561-02 reyco air suspension. Owner notification: owner notification is expected to begin July 25, 1996. Note: owners who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact blue bird at 1-912-825-2021.
