Corrosion of the tubes can lead to brake fluid or fuel leakage. This can cause a loss of brakes or result in a fire.

icon3 Recall Summary:

The fuel and rear brake tubes can experience accelerated corrosion between the tubes and a rubber isolator.

icon2 How to Fix:

Dealers will inspect the brake, fuel supply and fuel vapor tubes for the presence of corrosion. Any tubes showing corrosion will be replaced. All vehicles will have the rubber isolator replaced with a plastic clip.

Owner notification began December 6, 1996. Note:owners who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact Chrysler at 1-800-853-1403.
