Vehicle description: motor homes built on a Chevrolet chassis. The frame rail extension will not support a full liquid propane (lp) gas tank. Vibration of the tank can cause the mounting hardware to become loose and eventualy could cause the tank to fall off.

Dealers will install a rail support for the lp tank.

Owner notification:owner notification will begin January 10, 1997. Note:owners who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact winnebago at 1-515-582-6939.
