Due to undersized rivets and oversized holes, the b-pillar anchorage will not meet the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard (fmvss) no. 210, "seat belt assembly anchorages. "

Dealers will make the necessary repairs to the seat belt assembly anchorages.

Owner notification:owner notification is expected to begin February 10, 1997. Notes:owners who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact freightliner at 1-503-735-8078.
