Recall Summary:The electrical circuit design allows the potential for an inadvertent air bag deployment upon vehicle ignition shut down.
How to Fix:Dealers will replace the air bag electronic control module with a newly designed module.
Recall Notes:Owner notification began during July 1997. Owners who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact Chrysler at 1-800-853-1403.
