Vehicle description: class 8 heavy duty trucks. During assembly, insufficient torque occurred of the drag link to the axle steering arm connection. If the drag link to axle sttering arm connection is not torqued and the cotter pin is not installed, the nut could back off during vehicle operation.

icon2 How to Fix:

Dealers will retorque the drag link to the axle steering arm connection.

Owner notification began November 24, 1997. Owners who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact mack at 1-610-709-3011.
