Vehicle description: transit buses with drive axle equipped with drum brakes only. The design of the differential cross-member reinforcement can crack under certain applications.

Dealers will install two other reinforcements to solidify the cross-member assembly.

Owner notification began December 10, 1997. Owners who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact prevost at 1-418-883-3391.
