Recall Summary:Vehicle description: school and transit buses. The parking brake indicator light can illuminate without the parking brake being set.
How to Fix:Dealers will add a diode to the stop light circuit to prevent illumination of the parking brake indicator unless the parking brake has been set.
Recall Notes:Owner notification began March 12, 1998. Owners who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact blue bird at 1-912-825-2021.
